Christine Ingebretson
Christine Ingebretson currently serves Foster the City as the Bay Area Regional Director. Her heart's desire is to see followers of Jesus tuning into His voice and saying "yes" to His invitations in their everyday lives, living and moving in the power of the Holy Spirit. She is passionate about seeing Jesus-followers bring a taste of the kingdom of heaven to earth in their everyday lives. She loves to inspire other leaders to live into the fullness of who God has created them to be and is a part of the founding team of Lead Bold, a movement to equip and empower women in ministry leadership! Christine loves to teach the Bible in ways that challenge and inspire people to not simply gather more information but to enter into transformation by the power of the Spirit. Christine was privileged to do her undergraduate work at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, later earning her MA from Western Seminary. Christine has been in pastoral ministry for many years. These days, you can find her traveling around the Bay Area challenging Jesus followers to consider how He is inviting them to enter the lives of some of our most vulnerable neighbors, precious children in foster care, and their families through her work with Foster the City. Married to Doug for 25 years, she is a bio, foster, and adoptive mama to Grace, 23, Kayla Joy, 15 and Isaac, 6.
