From Tim: I’m heading home from the FCAW annual meeting in Kansas City, MO. Twenty men and women from all over the USA and the Ukraine came together for two days to strategize on how we can better reach coaches and wrestlers for the Lord.
We spent time in worship, prayer and were fed by by some amazing teaching from Pastor Larry Brey of Elevation Church.
The topics of discussion included digital ministry, camps, international ministry, leadership principles, and donor ministry. (We also ate some delicious bbq, played pickle ball and watched Burroughs and Taylor win a World Championship)
Thank you Cedars Church so much for being a part of our TEAM. I could not pursue this vision that God has called me to without your help.

I am so thankful to be able these amazing athletes and coaches. We studied the Bible, prayed together, we celebrated victory and comforted our teammates during defeats.
As I spent time with them, I am reminded of how champions don’t become champions when they win championships. They become champions by doing what champions do on a consistent basis. These men and women exemplify what living a high character lifestyle consistently looks like; Hard working, kind, tough, respectful, technically skilled, disciplined, and thankful.
God is all about relationship and this trip was an excellent opportunity to further develop previous relationships. I was able to initiate new relationships with wrestlers, coaches, parents and officials. Thank you for your investment in this ministry!"

I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve as an FCAW Team Chaplain for the USA Wrestling U23 Team at the World Championships in Pontevedra, Spain OCT 17-23.
Being able to pour into our wrestlers, coaches, staff, parents at events like this is an absolute answer to prayer. Thank you God!

I recently returned from Edwardsville Illinois for the National Wrestling Coaches Association/FCAW leadership academy. I was honored to be able to teach the day 2 portion of the course which included FCA curriculum called 360 Coaching. There were 25 new college coaches in attendance. We spent the day discussing how to become Kingdom Coaches.

Chaplain at the World Championships for USA Cadet National Team
I (Tim Hess) have been offered the opportunity to serve as the team Chaplain for our Cadet National Freestyle Team at the 2021 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary July 14-22. It has been a prayer of mine for 3 years to be able to encourage, challenge, mentor, teach and serve these young men.
